Translation clients and projects
Over the last 4 years, I have been working on with a wide variety of customers. The assignments and medical projects included website translations, patient leaflets, academic presentations and clinical trials such as case reports and cohort studies.
Website translations:
I have translated the website for a Cancer Clinic in Hamburg. This customer required the transcreation of patient-centred information focusing on the complementary approach. In addition, some copywriting for their marketing was part of the assignment.
As a non-medical project, I have worked on the translation of content for a European Web hosting company, who was keen to branch out into the German-speaking market.
European Medicine Agency and Swissmedic:
I have worked on several pharmacological assignments concerning the SUMMARY OF PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS of medication. This related mainly to the introduction of new drugs into the German, Austrian and Swiss market.
Academic presentations:
Last year I enjoyed working with a large multinational company, translating a presentation on immunology. It was an interesting project on a new approach against Cholera.
Start-up companies:
I am currently involved with a young company from Ireland that is reaching out to the German market to introduce their groundbreaking Iron supplement.
Medical Marketing Research:
In the last 6 months, I had the chance of helping out a Marketing Research Company with the German translation and localisation of their specialist-facing script.
